Javier Ancalle (UIUC MS '07): I am working as a water resources engineer with URS Corporation in Herndon, VA. The company is starting a water resources group at the office where I was hired. So, in the meanwhile, I have been working in the geospatial technologies group doing LIDAR data QA/QC.

Asmeret Asefaw Berhe (Former Postdoc UCB): Berhe's postdoc work involved looking into the role of anticipated changes in amount and timing of rainfall on soil organic carbon and base cations dynamics. Berhe will be working as an assistant professor at the University of California, Merced.
