NCED provides its graduate students a number of innovative experiences, including a Graduate Museum Assistantship, participation in the Graduate Student Council, annual retreats, and internships with NCED Partners. NCED admits graduate students through each of its participating institutions: Please see About NCED for a full list of current Principal Investigators, graduate students, and staff.
NEW! NCED now offers a 1 year Stream Restoration Certificate Program!
NCED is also a partner in the University of Minnesota's IGERT training grant, which offers an integrated graduate experience through the University of Minnesota's College of Biological Sciences and Institute of Technology. The scientific theme of this training program emphasizes non-equilibrium dynamics and develops a framework for both empirical and theoretical work to understand the physical and biological consequences of non-equilibrium dynamics at different temporal and spatial scales in a nonlinear world.
Finally, NCED also offers short courses to graduate students from institutions outside NCED, in conjunction with professional meetings.
