Middle- to High-School teachers are invited to join NCED research teams to work on specific research projects. The educators become integral members of the research teams, participating at the level of an undergraduate intern. Teachers create classroom-ready activities which will be tested in their own classrooms and other local schools. The activities are evaluated and disseminated through the Science Museum of Minnesota's school programs and the NCED website. Participants receive a stipend; most E-STREAM teachers join NCED in the summer months.
