The objective of this study is to develop a general analytical expression for predicting the distribution of depth-averaged velocities in compound trapezoidal channels.

Major accomplishments:

So far: Data for conducting the analyses required for this study have been gathered and the analyses are in progress.

Coming up: In the coming months, graduate students will continue analyzing the gathered data.  By mid-April we will have determined if physical tests are needed to collect additional data.
